About DTXY Shop

DTXY Shop is managed by Defytime OÜ.

We share the vision of Bill Andrews, Ph.D. “Creating a society in which everyone in the world can live a long healthy life”. It is our mission to allow Bill Andrews, Ph.D. to concentrate on his research that will expand the possibilities of humanity and pass on the results of his research to people all over the world.

As the average life expectancy keeps increasing steadily in developed countries, maintaining your health both physically and mentally is becoming important as well as curing your disease and impairment today.

We sincerely hope that “defytime Series”, the fruit of Bill Andrews, Ph.D.’s research, will help you to creat your brilliant future.

Creatures that do not show any signs of aging

Did you know creatures that don’t show signs of aging actually exist?
We can name bivalve and lobster as typical examples. Although they also have telomers that cause aging, they don’t show any signs of aging.

Then why do we “humans” start to show a sign of aging as we grow old? The reasons can be found below.

The 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine

In the scientific field, receiving the Nobel Prize in Physics, in Chemistry, and in Physiology or Medicine is considered as the highest honor.
In recent years, Professor Yamanaka who discovered iPS cells won the 2012 Nobel Prize. In 2015, two Japanese scientists, Professor Omura and Professor Kajita, won the Nobel Prize. They attracted a lot of attention both worldwide and nationwide.
The 2009 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine was awarded “for the discovery of how chromosomes are protected by telomeres and the enzyme telomerase” which is based on the research of Tetrahymena, a genus of free-living ciliates, that had been conducted in 1978 – 1989.
The prize motivation was that this discovery helps to unravel the reason why cells in creatures start to show spontaneous cell death as they grow old and leads to development of anticancer drugs.

Research of Bill Andrews, Ph.D.

Bill Andrews, Ph.D. is the world’s leading authority on anti-aging teatments and curing diseases caused by telomere shortening.
In his 30-year research, he discovered the RNA component of telomerase (“hTR”). For this discovery, Bill Andrews, Ph.D. was awarded 2nd place as “National Inventor of the Year” by the Intellectual Property Owners Association in 1997. In 2002, he discovered the protein component of human telomerase (“hTERT”) as well. The hTERT gene already exists in all of our cells but unfortunately, the hTERT gene is inactivated (repressed) in them.
After investigating nearly 60,000 chemical substances, Bill Andrews, Ph.D. became the first to identify 【Telomerase Acitivating Molecule】 which activates the hTERT gene. He successfully produced telomerase and the mechanism is scientifically proven in his human skin cells experiment.
